The OWL Study Fund Foundation supports students with 3,600 euros per year
Final spurt: Students and prospective students have until 7 May to apply for a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship from the OWL Study Fund Foundation for the winter semester 2024/25. To apply, applicants must be studying at Bielefeld University, Paderborn University, Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences or Detmold University of Music in the coming winter semester 2024/25. Both students and prospective students can still apply online until 7 May at 11.59 pm. School and academic achievements as well as voluntary work and particularly challenging personal circumstances will be taken into account in the selection process.
The scholarships are awarded as part of the Deutschlandstipendien programme and amount to 3,600 euros per year. The scholarship is paid irrespective of income and also irrespective of BAföG, the money is freely available and does not have to be repaid. Each Deutschlandstipendium is funded in equal parts by the federal government (1,800 euros) and donations from the sponsors of the OWL Study Fund. These include companies, foundations, associations and private individuals from the OWL region. In addition to financial support, the OWL Study Fund offers an extensive non-material support programme in cooperation with its sponsors.
